The LG G4S has made its way to the leaks on a number of occasions. It has now been spotted on GFXBench, which is usually the norm for any upcoming device. The benchmark database has revealed that the smartphone will feature Qualcomm’s mid-level Snapdragon 615 SoC, which we’ve seen powering multiple handsets from big ticket OEMs.
It is also shown that the smartphone will be housing a 5.2 inch 1080p display on board, accompanied by 2GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter. It’s possible going by this hardware that the LG G4S will compete with some of the budget offerings in the market as well.
Since this is just a benchmark listing, there’s still some uncertainty over its authenticity, so we’re not really sure if the company will go ahead and launch the device sometime in the future. But considering that a device like this is being tested in LG’s labs, there’s a strong possibility that it might see the light of the day sometime soon.
