The LG Nexus smartphone has been said to be in the making for quite some time now. And now, a site has gotten exclusive information from an anonymous LG insider, claiming that the LG Nexus phone is indeed real and that it is based off a prototype that we’re yet to see.
This source has also confirmed that the smartphone won’t be based on the LG G4 flagship that was recently unveiled. LG’s history with Nexus phones suggest that the phones are usually based around their flagship of the year, but it won’t be the case this year, apparently.
We must mention that the LG Nexus smartphone will also be joined by Huawei’s large sized Nexus phablet as Google intends to take on both market segments this year. The Nexus 6 was a partial success for Google, but it seems like the company wants to target the Asian demographic this time around, primarily China, where the Nexus devices have received the least love.
