HBO Now available on Android and Amazon Fire OS devices starting today

HBO Now was recently announced as an iOS exclusive on mobile. However, the service can now be accessed by Android and Amazon’s Fire OS device owners in the U.S. for $14.99. If you’re unaware about the functioning of HBO Now, it works independently of a cable connection, and all you need is the monthly subscription to start streaming original programming from HBO on the go.

Support for Android TV, Fire TV as well as the Fire TV Stick is supposedly on the cards as HBO hasn’t enabled support at the moment. HBO Now is an excellent service for people who are hooked onto original programming like Game of Thrones, True Detective etc. To make the deal sweeter, HBO is also offering a 30-day free trial of the service to new users.

Although the app isn’t available on the Google Play Store yet, we expect it to appear before the end of the day. Make sure you sign up for HBO Now from the link below if you’re interested in the service.
