ASUS ZenFone 2E

The ASUS ZenFone 2E smartphone has just been unveiled as a budget offering on AT&T’s pay-as-you-go GoPhone plans. The handset will set you back by $119.99 off contract and has the hardware to rival even the best of budget offerings. The design here can be likened to ASUS’ recent ZenFone 2 handsets, although the internal specs is completely toned down.

With the ZenFone 2E, customers can expect to find a 5 inch 720p display, a dual core Intel Atom processor, 8GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, a 2,500 mAh battery and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The smartphone will be available in Charcoal Black and Pearl White color variants.

The handset can be bought right away from Walmart and Target retail outlets, while AT&T will start selling it officially this Friday. Best Buy will also sell the ASUS ZenFone 2E in its retail locations, but from the 2nd of August.
