Smartphones today are all about speed. And as such, we’ve seen several devices around us that are capable of providing snappy performance. However, only a few of them stand out here and a new list has given us a very good idea to know how recent flagships have fared.
A test conducted by a leading tech site has compared the Galaxy S6 with the likes of the One M9, the iPhone 6, the Nexus 6 as well as the LG G4 and the results are fairly promising. According to this list, the Exynos 7420 running Galaxy S6 has managed to come out on top.
The LG G4 has surprisingly made its way to the second spot, thanks to its Snapdragon 808 SoC. The Apple iPhone 6 which uses the Apple A8 custom CPU configuration is at third place. The list is rounded off by the HTC One M9 (Snapdragon 810), Motorola Nexus 6 (Snapdragon 805) and the ASUS ZenFone 2 (Intel Atom Z3580).
Samsung has come a long way with the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge as far as CPU handling and UI performance is concerned. The Korean manufacturer will hope that this will positively reflect on the sales figures of the two flagships.
