Samsung could be looking to launch the Galaxy S6 Plus later this month: Rumor

Galaxy S6 Plus

With the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge already available in the market, one would think that Samsung would hold off on launching any flagship level hardware until later in the year.

But that’s not the case according to a new rumor which is now claiming that the company could be gearing up to release a new handset called the Galaxy S6 Plus, sporting a larger 5.5 inch curved AMOLED display and upgraded hardware.

It is said that despite the enlarged display, the handset won’t come with support for the company’s S-Pen stylus. Further, the report mentions that the smartphone will also feature a hexa core Snapdragon 808 chipset, a 16-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and perhaps Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Given that the company already has two high end devices in the market, we suggest you take this report with a grain of salt until there’s evidence to prove otherwise. What do you think about a potential Galaxy S6 Plus? Sound off below.

  1. Let’s pray for expandable memory for this one. More battery power will help too!
