Samsung’s TouchWiz UI has come a long way since the days of the Galaxy S and is now more refined. However, it’s still nowhere nearly as polished as stock Android as many might argue. But Samsung has now decided to change that by bringing a new Material Design theme for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge through its dedicated theme store.
This brings some of the familiar Material Design elements like icons, Settings etc on board, so stock Android users will find themselves at home with this new UI. One of the best additions to the new TouchWiz has been the theme store, which lets users get their own themes and change it according to their liking rather than relying on third party solutions.
The notifications tray deserves a special mention here as it will be completely revamped after using this theme. To find this nifty looking theme for your Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge, all you have to do is head over to the Themes Store on your phone, navigate to the ‘What’s New’ section and find this theme named ‘Material’ in the list. It’s that simple.
Have you tried this out yet? If yes, let us know what you think.
