LG G4 seemingly facing touchscreen complaints

The LG G4 is already available for purchase from all the major carriers of the U.S. and it seems like some users are already seeing issues with the device. According to several users of the device as reported on the XDA Forums, the smartphone fails to register a touch, which renders some crucial features like Knock Code basically useless. A user has even made a video showing the true extent of the issue at hand.

A poll on the XDA forum post tells us that about 60% of the 200 users are facing issues with the touchscreen of their smartphone. If you think you’re facing similar issues, make sure you head over to the XDA forums page below. While you’re at it, make sure you speak with the retailer that you bought it from to check for a possible replacement.

If the issue is widespread though, we don’t think offering a replacement could help. This could be ominous signs for LG as a massive touchscreen issue such as this could result in very bad PR. At this point, we’re hoping that this issue is only seen on a select batch of units and not all of them, as that could create quite a lot of trouble for the Korean manufacturer.
