Possible new variant of the Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-929F) leaked out

Samsung Galaxy S6

We’re already aware of Samsung’s plans to launch the Galaxy S6 Active with AT&T. It seems like the company is prepping the launch of another variant going by a revelation made by an Indian import database. The smartphone with the model number SM-929F has been spotted at Zauba, with no mention of the hardware on board.

The listing claims that the device has arrived for R&D purposes, so it’s most probably a new device that we’ve not even heard of before. At this point, it’s hard to mention what this variant will bring to the table, but it is possible that this is a cheaper variant of the Galaxy S6.

This makes sense given that Samsung only recently announced the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge sporting a high end hardware. So the company wouldn’t be willing to launch yet another high end offering as of yet.

Could this be a dual SIM version meant for the Asian markets, or perhaps a mini version? Only time can tell.
