AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 getting Android 5.0.2

Galaxy Tab S 10.5

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 on AT&T is now receiving the Android 5.0.2 update, the carrier revealed. This comes after the global versions of the tablet received the update not too long ago, but it’s good to see the cellular model of the tablet getting the update as well.

The update changes the build number to LRX22G.T807AUCU1BOD4 and brings some well known Lollipop related changes to the fore, skinned with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. You will find that notifications will be managed differently now and you will also be greeted to an all new lockscreen, making things more efficient.

The update is a hefty 1.1GB in size, so it is recommended that you have your tablet on WiFi before going ahead with the download. If you can’t find the update notification, try pulling the update manually from the Settings page. And even if that doesn’t work, you can always try to download the update from the Samsung Kies application on your computer.
