In a move that’s clearly aimed at T-Mobile customers, Sprint has launched a new international roaming plan. Starting today, all customers can sign up to have free unlimited 2G data when roaming out of the country.
However unlike T-Mobile’s plan, Sprint is limiting this offer to only a few countries. The countries where this is available are:
- Costa Rica
- El Salvador
- South Korea
- The United Kingdom
So if you’re traveling to one of these countries, you’re in luck. If you want faster 3G data, Sprint is offering different International Speed Roaming passes. After the data has been used up, it will revert to 2G speeds:
- A $15 day pass will get you 100MB of 3G data
- A $25 pass will get you 300MB of 3G data for 7 days
- A $50 pass will get you 500MB of 3G data for 14 days
If you are on Sprint’s new Unlimited Plus Plan, which is exclusive to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge for now, this feature will be automatically included. If not, go ahead to your account page or call them and ask to add the free feature to your account.
