Specs powerhouse, Saygus V2 delayed until May 22

Saygus V2

Saygus has confirmed through its Twitter page that the V2 smartphone will begin shipping to customers from May 22. It was previously said that the smartphone was merely delayed, but this revelation confirms that pre-order customers will get their hands on the smartphone somewhere near the end of May.

The Saygus V2 went up on pre-order late February and has been delayed since then. The launch was expected to commence in April, but that was pushed forward to May. It is to be seen if there will be any further delays with still over a month to go for the smartphone’s arrival.

The Saygus V2 has been subject to a lot of talk for its heavyweight specs sheet. It comes with a 5 inch 1080p display, a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, a 13-megapixel camera on the back as well as a 13-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and dual microSD card slots which can take cards of 128GB each. The price quoted is $599, which seems to be pretty decent for a device of this caliber.
