Google Nexus Player now available in nine more countries

Nexus Player - Android 5.1.1

Google has just brought the Nexus Player to nine new countries, letting more customers enjoy its flagship Android TV console. Customers in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland can now get their hands on the Nexus Player. The cost won’t remain the same in all countries, so don’t be surprised if you see some disparity in pricing between countries.

The Nexus Player is currently the only device on Google’s roster to have Android 5.1.1 running by default, so you can be assured of getting the best Android experience with the device. The device made its way to the UK only last month, so Google has been a little cautious with the rollout of the Nexus Player. There’s also an additionally available ASUS GamePad that you can purchase, which will allow you to play games wirelessly on the console.

If you live in either of the aforementioned countries, make sure you head over to the Google Store to check out the Nexus Player.
