Android Wear finally gets Google Keep support

Google Keep

Google has announced the arrival of Google Keep support for Android Wear, just a few days after the new system update was rolled out to smartwatches. You can view your existing notes from your smartphone and even take new notes with a simple voice command.

You can also gander at your checklists, just the way you would with the smartphone app, thus saving you the time of having to physically open the Keep application on your smartphone.

Commands like “OK Google, take a note” or “OK Google, open Keep” can help you access Keep on Android Wear while on the go. The update should be rolling out over the coming days, so keep an eye out on your smartwatch app drawer to find Google Keep there.

If you haven’t used Keep before, make sure you give it a go from the Google Play Store. Google Keep has effectively made other note taking apps obsolete, thanks to seamless cloud syncing of notes, reminders and check lists.
