Mortal Kombat X coming to the Google Play Store next month

Mortal Kombat X

NetherRealm Studios is bringing the much awaited Mortal Kombat X game to consoles and PCs next month. The developers have now announced that the game will also make its way to the Google Play Store in April. The contents of this mobile version of the game are unknown at this point, but we’re guessing it will have similar gameplay as Injustice: Gods Among Us, which comes from the same developers.

The developers promise that all of the classic Mortal Kombat elements will be present in the mobile version of the game, so mobile users won’t be exempt from the action. NetherRealm Studios hasn’t shared exact launch details, but we’re guessing the game will be available sometime around the release of the console version on April 14.

Mortal Kombat has been popular title with gaming enthusiasts and this is the tenth iteration in the franchise. We’re guessing the game will be available for free with the ability to make in-app purchases, something which Injustice: Gods Among Is was popular for.
