AT&T Galaxy Note 4 receiving Android 5.0.1 update

Galaxy Note 4

Samsung has begun the Android 5.0 update rollout for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S5 a few weeks ago. However, carrier variants of the handsets have taken their sweet time to get updated. The AT&T model of the Galaxy Note 4 is no different. However, the smartphone is now receiving the update according to a bunch of users.

The update doesn’t introduce Android 5.0.2, but Android 5.0.1, which shouldn’t matter much as they’re pretty much the same as far as functionality is concerned. The update is available over the air, but you can also try your hand by checking the company’s Kies software on the PC to download an update manually. You can also head over to the Settings page on your smartphone and check for an update there.

The update file is said to be 1.1GB so we suggest you remain on an unlimited WiFi network before downloading it on your device. Are you finding the update on your AT&T branded Galaxy Note 4?
