Ever get the annoying “Insufficient Storage Available” prompt error on your smartphone? Odds are you either installed too many apps or you are a photography fanatic. If you claim the latter, we have a quick fix for you.
All Amazon Prime members currently receive free unlimited photo storage on their Amazon Cloud storage, in addition to all other practical Amazon perks. Which means that if you are an Amazon Prime member and correctly setup your phone, you can have all your photos automatically uploaded to the cloud on a regular basis, and safely delete all the photos off your phone to save storage space.
If you prefer not to sign up for the full Amazon Prime membership, Amazon has just launched two new data storage plans which will completely change the way you look at cloud storage services around you. With the new “Unlimited Everything” plan, Amazon will give you unlimited cloud storage for just $59.99 per year. There’s also an “Unlimited Photo” option which will let you store unlimited number of images. This plan comes with 5GB of additional data for videos and other files.
Amazon is already offering unlimited photo storage to its Prime users and that won’t change with the announcement of this new service, so Prime users have absolutely nothing to worry about with regards to the free photo storage. People who don’t have Prime can get the Unlimited Photos access for just $11.99 per year.
In order to entice more users into trying out these new plans, Amazon is offering 3 month free trial period for both. You can find the full details about pricing and storage below:
- Unlimited Photos Plan (free 3-month trial, then $11.99 per year—equivalent of less than $1 per month): Store an infinite number of photos in Cloud Drive without worrying about taking up space on phones, cameras, or other devices. Customers can upload existing collections and store all future photos taken. This plan also includes 5 GB of additional storage for videos or other documents and files.
- Unlimited Everything Plan (free 3-month trial, then $59.99 per year—equivalent of less than $5 per month): Store an infinite number of new and existing photos, videos, files, documents, movies, and music in Cloud Drive.
