USA Today app gets Android Wear support

USA Today

One of the most popular news applications in the U.S., USA Today on Android has now received support for Android Wear notifications. This will bring alerts with news articles right to your wrist, making it easier for you to catch up on current events.

You will receive the headlines on your smartwatch with the ability to display up to five at a time. Users can set the headline pop ups to appear at any given time depending on their convenience.

To make use of these features, users will require to download the latest version of the USA Today app from the Play Store. Beyond this, it’s as simple as setting up notifications and letting the app do the rest.

The standalone app has also received a new video playlists feature. The update should be rolling out as we speak, but if it hasn’t, make sure you hit the Play Store on your smartphone to check for an update.
