T-Mobile HTC One M8 now officially receiving the Android 5.0.2 update

HTC One M8 - Android 5.0

The HTC One M8 from Sprint received the Android 5.0 update last week. And today it’s T-Mobile’s turn to roll out the update according to multiple reports. News about the update originally broke out yesterday thanks to HTC’s Mo Versi and users have now confirmed to be receiving the coveted Lollipop update on the HTC flagship.

Customers of the developer edition One M8 as well as Sprint models have received the Lollipop update, so it’s now up to the carriers to start sending out the update to their customers. The update notification should be going live any minute on your smartphone now, so make sure you’re on the lookout for an update. If you’re not seeing it on your device yet, make sure you hit the settings and try looking for an update there.

HTC originally intended to finish the rollout of Android 5.0 within 90 days of Google’s official announcement. And although it failed to reach that goal, customers will be happy that the update is finally rolling out.
