T-Mobile Has A New Software Update Tracking Page

If you have ever bought a phone directly from a carrier, you know that it takes a while for software updates to be released for certain devices. HTC has a page to track the update process for many of their devices, but individual carriers are usually mum on when updates are going to be released.

T-Mobile Update Page

T-Mobile is making that a little easier, as they have created a page that allows customers to see the how far along certain devices are to getting updated. There are only 9 devices so far, but hopefully allows customers to track more devices than the following:

  • Nexus 4
  • Nexus 5
  • Nexus 7 (2013)
  • HTC One (M7)
  • HTC One M8
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4
  • Samsung Galaxy Note Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S5

Some of these devices have already gotten Lollipop, but it’s nice to see T-Mobile helping customers better understand the update process.
