Samsung’s MWC event invite hints the arrival of curved display smartphone

Samsung Galaxy S6

With all the talk about Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the company has finally started sending invites for its MWC keynote address, also known as Samsung Unpacked. This event will mark the official arrival of the Galaxy S6.

The teaser hints at the arrival of a curved display smartphone, further building our curiosity. It was always known that Samsung would have a curved display smartphone to show at the MWC. However, it was believed that the curved display smartphone would launch in addition to the standard Galaxy S6. This teaser however seems to suggest that Samsung will launch the primary flagship of the year with a curved display.

This is merely speculation at this point, so we won’t be surprised if it goes either way. But considering Samsung’s desperation to make a comeback in the mobile segment, nothing can be ruled out. Samsung was originally expected to be launching a dual edge curved display smartphone, so it is likely that we’ll see it during the course of the event.
