[Deal] Google offering a $6 credit for owners of the Chromecast

The Chromecast has been a runaway success for Google since its launch in 2013. Its popularity reached a new peak in 2014 where the device reportedly sold over 10 million units. This was partly due to Google expanding its availability to several global markets, while its sales were predominantly coming from the U.S.

And if you’re one of those who have purchased the Chromecast and use it on a regular basis, Google is offering a decent $6 credit starting today. This credit can be used to watch movies from Google’s large collection over at Play Movies.

In order to access this feature, users will have to be on the same WiFi network as the Chromecast and navigate to whichever movie they want to watch.

To get started with the feature, Google has its dedicated Chromecast offers page where you can find a variety of discounts and credits available in your particular region.

So if you own a Chromecast, make sure you head over to Google’s offer page below for more details.
