When we talk about smartphones, manufacturers like BenQ barely strike our minds. But that might be changing soon with the company’s F52 smartphone being announced ahead of the MWC event in Barcelona. Unlike most smartphones from little known mobile OEMs, this device will be packing top of the line hardware, with the highlight being the Snapdragon 810 chipset which is only seen on the LG G Flex 2 and the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro at this point.
The BenQ F52 also features a 5.2 inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone will be sold with apps like Clean Master, GP Security and GP Battery Doctor which should help enhance the performance.
It is said that BenQ will also show off the B50 and the B502 smartphones at the MWC 2015, which could be midrange handsets. The company is yet to offer details on the launch markets of the F52 flagship, but we’re afraid it might be mostly limited to Asia.
What do you think about BenQ’s latest smartphone?
