Google just posted the Android version marketshare numbers for February (well, a 7-day period ending February 2nd) and Lollipop is now on the chart at 1.6%.
While Android Lollipop now is on the boards, Android Jelly Bean (4.1-4.3) is down to 44.5%, lowered from 45% the month prior. Android 4.4 KitKat is third at 39.7%.
This same time last year, KitKat was at 1.8% of Android device installs, so Lollipop is almost on track as KitKat was.
Of course, more devices are getting Lollipop as time goes on, including the HTC One M8, the Moto X, the Moto G, the LG G3, and the Galaxy S5. More devices are getting it soon as well, so Lollipop’s share of Android will continue to grow.
