ZTE to start selling WiFi only model of its Android projector on Jan 6 for $399

ZTE Projector

ZTE unveiled a project/WiFi hotspot in accordance with Sprint not too long ago. Today, the company has announced a WiFi only version of this projector with an asking price of $399. This is essentially the same device as Sprint announced earlier, but without the ability to support cellular networks.

The device has a 4 inch display which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Underneath, there’s a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and a projector with brightness of 100 lumens. The device also has 1GB of RAM along with 4GB of internal storage, so there’s enough room to store your apps.

A device like this can be ideal for an office like atmosphere where you have to drop presentations at a moment’s notice. The projector on the device is capable of outputting content on a 10 inch –120 inch (10 foot) diameter across the wall, which is quite nifty for a device this size.

You can pre-order the device through ZTE’s site today with shipments expected to commence on January 6.
