ZTE has just announced the Blade S6 smartphone sporting a 64-bit CPU and Android 5.0 Lollipop. Hardware like this wouldn’t usually make the headlines, but it’s the price tag of $250 which has gathered plenty of attention here.
The smartphone comes with a 5 inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa core Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 2,400 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop with what we think is a custom UI layer on top. ZTE has also included Hi Fi audio with the device to attract the masses. There are a myriad of gesture features in use here thanks to something known as Smart Sense.
The Blade S6 is only 7.7mm thick, which also makes it stand out from the competition. The smartphone is available for purchase from AliExpress on a global level, so you can get your hands on the device right away.
