The original YotaPhone was revealed a couple of years ago as a strange yet innovative concept. The second iteration was announced a couple of months ago. It is now being said that Yota Devices is contemplating the launch of the YotaPhone 2 in the U.S. through popular mobile carrier T-Mobile. There’s no confirmation from either the carrier or the manufacturer, so we’ll take this report with a pinch of salt. It is being said that the smartphone will also launch through an unnamed Canadian carrier later this year.
With a European price tag of €699 or $823, the YotaPhone 2 will not go easy on your wallets. And considering that it’s a relatively unknown brand for many, customers might be hesitant to make the jump to the YotaPhone 2. But there’s no denying that the launch of this smartphone in North America will do wonders for the company as far as global exposure is concerned. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more details on the device’s arrival on T-Mobile.
