U.S. Cellular sending out updates to the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 4

Galaxy Note 4

The U.S. Cellular variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 as well as the Galaxy Note 4 are now seeing updates which bring forth some camera related improvements along with a new dialer app.

It seems like the update introduces some Google related changes as well. The Hangouts app is included by default now and so is the Ok Google hotword detection. Both of these features were previously available as well, but required users to manually enable them, so the update essentially makes lives a little easier for the users.

Further, the camera app on all three devices have received an update which allows touch to focus and the addition of exposure and focus controls. Overall, it’s an update that you do not want to miss if you own a U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4 or the Galaxy S5.

The update will be rolling out in batches but should appear on all devices before the weekend. Have you seen the update on either of the aforementioned devices? Let us know.
