Sprint’s third fiscal quarter results show the addition of nearly 1 million new subscribers

Sprint has just announced the addition of almost a million subscribers in the third fiscal quarter of 2014, with decent addition to its postpaid and prepaid subscribers list. This is only the preliminary figures from the third fiscal quarter of 2014 with the carrier expected to post full results sometime soon.

The carrier added 410,000 customers on prepaid and another 30,000 users on its postpaid service. There were 527,000 wholesale customers, bringing the total tally to 967,000. These numbers were bolstered by the carrier’s series of plans, including the one which would cut your bill in half when switching from a rival carrier.

The carrier however will hope to increase the number of postpaid customers in the coming quarters, as prepaid numbers don’t make up for much of the company’s revenues. We look forward to the carrier’s full third fiscal quarter revenues for more information on how it’s faring in terms of profits and overall income.
