Sprint issuing minor updates to the Galaxy S5 Sport, Galaxy Tab 4 and the Galaxy S III

Galaxy S5 Sport

Sprint has started issuing a new update to the Galaxy S5 Sport, the Galaxy Tab 4 as well as the three year old Galaxy S III. These are minor updates of course, so don’t expect a lot in the update change log. Apart from the usual suite of bug fixes, the update adds the Kids Mode feature to the smartphones, which has been available on flagship Samsung devices for quite some time now.

The carrier also mentions that there will be minor UI enhancements with the device, which could be the addition of an icon or two, so don’t get your hopes up just yet.

As usual, the update is rolling out in batches, so you might not see it popping up instantly on your devices. But if you’re already seeing the update on your Sprint branded Galaxy S III, Galaxy S5 Sport or the Galaxy Tab, make sure you let us know by dropping a comment below.
