Mystery LG tablet with Cat. 4 LTE spotted at the FCC

LG Tablet FCC

A new LG tablet has been spotted at the FCC sporting Category 4 or Cat.4 LTE support. Interestingly, this mystery tablet also seems to be carrying Sprint’s network frequencies, indicating that the device could launch through the carrier subsequently. LTE bands 25, 26 and 41 are supported by Sprint, so it’s pretty easy to connect the dots from there. The tablet is revealed to be packing the model number LK430, which doesn’t ring a bell unfortunately.

This is pretty much all we know about the tablet, but we hope to stumble across more details in the coming weeks. It is possible that this is Sprint’s variant of the upcoming G Pad tablets, succeeding the G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1. We’ll keep a close watch on the rumors and inform you when more details become available.

By the looks of it, this could be a midrange budget tablet with stress on the pricing, like we saw on the G Pad series last year. Would you be interested in a future proof LTE budget tablet from LG?
