Just days after AT&T was approved to buy Iusacell, the 3rd-largest Mexican cell carrier for $2.5 billion dollars, they have announced a slight revamp to their international calling plans. Starting now, all AT&T customers can pay just $5 per month to make unlimited calls to Mexico, as part of their World Connect Value plans.
AT&T’s Chief Marketing Officer David Christopher said: “”We’re always looking for opportunities to show our appreciation to our customers. Mexico is the most frequently dialed country among our wireless customers—and now they can call as much as they want with our enhanced World Connect Value package.”
AT&T’s other World Connect plans remain unchanged, still offering lower-rate calls to the rest of the world for $5 per month per individual line.
