AT&T sending out Android 4.4.4 update for the HTC One M8 with HD Voice

HTC One M8

Own an HTC One M8 from AT&T? You might want to be on the lookout for an update as the carrier is expected to send out the HD Voice feature for the smartphone. There are Bluetooth and security enhancements in tow as well, along with the usual bug fixing patches. Android 4.4.4 on its own has no known changes, so don’t expect a visual overhaul after the update.

Read on for the complete changelog as mentioned by the carrier:

  • Enables HD Voice
  • Updates Android OS to Android 4.4.4
  • Security enhancement
  • Bluetooth enhancement
  • Adds AMBS Cloud Messaging Integration
  • Adds Copy and Paste camera feature
  • Adds Usage Manager App
  • Improves battery performance
  • Updates AT&T Ready2Go
  • Updates Visual Voicemail

So it seems like AT&T has quite the surprise for users of the One M8 right at the start of the week. The update might take a while to appear on all units, but if you’re seeing it on your device, don’t hesitate to drop a line below and let us know.
