Amazon Prime members in Canada can now get unlimited photo storage

Amazon Deal

Amazon’s Prime service has a lot of perks, one of them being the ability to get access to a ton of media services on the go as well as expedited shipping on products. The retailer has now announced a neat little promotion for Canadian users of Prime with unlimited photo storage on Amazon’s servers.

You can upload photos from Amazon’s own Fire OS running devices as well as Android smartphones or tablets. Windows and Mac computers are supported too, so you have a wide range of options to upload your photos to the cloud.

Here’s what Amazon had to say about this new addition – “Most people have a lifetime of birthdays, vacations, holidays, and everyday moments stored across numerous devices. And, they continue to create billions of photos every year. Now, Prime, Amazon Student and Amazon Family members in Canada have a simple, secure place to store their photos — all for free.”

Although Amazon mentions that the service is free, users are required to shell out yearly subscription fees for Amazon Prime. But considering that Prime also comes with a wide range of other services, the price that users are paying is very minimal.
