The HTC One M9 Plus has just leaked out in a new series of images, revealing what appears to be an all new design from the company. We are taking these pictures with a large chunk of salt given that one of the images shows the device to be having a physical home button.
It is more than likely that this is a work of an HTC fan as we don’t see anything comprehensive to prove otherwise. Even then, it’s good to ponder over what an HTC smartphone with a physical home button would look like.
The leak from Twitter also suggests that the smartphone is packing a 5.5 inch QHD display, an octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, a Duo Camera arrangement on the back, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0 as one of the settings screenshots suggest.
Some early rumors have mentioned that HTC will have a fingerprint scanner on the next flagship device, so it could be the reason there’s a physical home button here. All that being said, it’s just not convincing enough to believe that this leak is authentic, so we’re going to treat it as a work of fiction until there’s evidence to prove otherwise.
