T-Mobile to roll out Android 5.0.1 for the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 5 today

Motorola Nexus 6

After Sprint mentioned that the Android 5.0.1 update will start seeding to the Nexus 5 today, T-Mobile too has joined the list now. The carrier has just announced the rollout of the latest version of Android for the Nexus 6 as well as the Nexus 5 beginning today. Both updates will get the build number LRX22C, which is associated with Android 5.0.1 as we’ve seen in previous updates.

So if you own a Nexus 6 or Nexus 5 on T-Mobile, you can be assured that an update is on the horizon. As most of you are aware by now, Android 5.0.1 doesn’t introduce a lot of visual changes, but merely some tweaks which will fix the bugs that were left open with Android 5.0, so don’t get your hopes up. But it’s always good to know that Google has your back with regards to software updates.

Have you received the update yet? Make sure you let us know in the comments section below.
