T-Mobile launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 on December 10

Galaxy Tab S 10.5

T-Mobile has just announced the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in a press release. Samsung’s premier tablet will make its way to the carrier’s outlets and online store on December 10. The carrier has priced the tablet at $649.92 outright while customers can also get the device in 24 monthly installments of $27.08. The tablet has been available from other carriers in the U.S., so its arrival is not really a surprise to us.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a 10.5 inch 2K resolution AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, a 2-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 3GB of RAM, a 7,900 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablet also comes with a dimpled back cover and a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button, much like the Galaxy S5.

The tablet comes with 4G LTE support, so it’s not running the Exynos chipset that we see on the international models of the tablet. T-Mobile’s “coming soon” listing on the site mentions that the tablet has a 1.9 GHz quad core SoC made by Qualcomm, with no clarity on the make or the model number of the chip. But that should be far from your concerns as the highlight of the tablet is the large AMOLED panel which promises truer colors and substantially better viewing angles.
