Samsung announces range of audio products ahead of the CES event next week

Samsung WAM7500

Korean manufacturer Samsung has just announced the arrival of two new unique looking sound bars/speakers known as the WAM7500 and WAM6500. Don’t get deceived by its lantern like looks though. The two speakers come with something known as the “ring radiator” technology, allowing the speakers to output audio in a 360 degree radius, making it ideal for a packed room.

We know how much people love music and that’s why we are expanding our portfolio to bring high-quality, wireless audio into the home,” said Jurack Chae, Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics. “With the new WAM7500/6500 people can enjoy a vibrant sound wherever they are, while our new Curved Soundbars perfectly complement the TV viewing experience.”

The WAM6500 (above) can be moved around while the WAM7500 has to remain stationary, which is pretty much the only difference between the two speakers. The Korean manufacturer will show off the two speakers in detail during next week’s CES 2015 event.

Although Samsung hasn’t clarified this, we’re assuming these speakers will work over Bluetooth for easy pairing with smartphones and Smart TVs alike. Given the technology on offer, don’t expect the tablet to go easy on your wallets.
