Samsung has a handful of devices in the market which feature the proprietary fingerprint scanning technology. One of the many perks of having a fingerprint scanner was the partnership Samsung struck with PayPal. The popular money transferring portal has now started supporting fingerprint authentication on its Play Store app thanks to a new update.
The PayPal app available through the Samsung Apps store allows fingerprint authentication by default. But if you’ve never tried the Samsung Apps version of PayPal, you can now download the same version from the Play Store as well. It’s a surprise that PayPal took this long to bring support to its official app on the Play Store, but we’re guessing Samsung wanted the app to be exclusive on its store for a few months.
If you’ve always wanted to try fingerprint authentication for payments on PayPal, make sure you give the app a try from the link below.
