The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to launch in early 2015. And now, an Indian import listing has revealed that a smartphone with the model number SM-G920F has made its way to the country . This is said to be the Galaxy S6 or a variant of the device, with a listing price of approximately $300.
The ‘F’ in the model number indicates that this is a European variant of the handset. The smartphone has made its way to the country on December 17, which is just a couple of days ago. This could be an early prototype of the upcoming Galaxy flagship with the purpose of import mentioned as R&D purposes and general evaluation.
Samsung usually imports devices to India before a major launch, so this isn’t new. As usual, this is merely an import listing so there’s no word on the hardware as of yet. But we expect the smartphone to feature a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, a 20-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a Snapdragon 810 SoC and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
