AT&T LG G3 now has its very own CyanogenMod nightly

AT&T’s version of the LG G3 (D8850) has just received its very own official CyanogenMod nightly. Although CM nightlies have been available for the smartphone since a while now, this is the first ROM to appear on CyanogenMod’s official download page. The ROM offered here is CM12, which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

This downloadable CM ROM is about 232MB in size and lacks the Google Apps package, which you will need to obtain separately. One of the advantages of having a CyanogenMod ROM is that you are assured of timely updates. And although this is only a nightly, the stable version shouldn’t be far away.

Bear in mind that a ROM of this nature is usually not suitable to be used on a daily driver. It will carry several bugs which might hinder the user experience, so download and install this on your AT&T LG G3 only if you have a spare device to run on the side.
