AT&T Galaxy S4 Zoom receiving the Android 4.4 update

AT&T Galaxy S4 Zoom

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom has been in the market for quite a while now. And the AT&T version of the handset is now receiving the Android 4.4 update, after over an year since its launch. The update to Android 4.4.2 changes the software version to C105A_KKUCUBNI1. Since the device was running Android 4.2 prior to this, the user interface will receive a significant improvement, along with some new TouchWiz features although the changelog barely mentions anything.

This is the first update to reach the AT&T Galaxy S4 Zoom and unfortunately, it’s not even the latest version of KitKat. Going by this, we’re not too optimistic about the prospects of this device receiving the Android 5.0 update sometime in the future. Since this is a camera first and a smartphone next, we hope Samsung has made necessary tweaks and adjustments to the camera app on the device. The changelog merely mentions the upgrade to Android 4.4, so we are yet to find out what else is new with the update. If you are seeing the update on your AT&T Galaxy S4 Zoom, make sure you let us know what’s changed.
