Chinese manufacturer BBK is all set to launch yet another slim smartphone next month according to an announcement made by the company. This handset known as the Vivo X5 Max will reportedly have a thickness of just 4.75mm, which makes it the slimmest device to hit the markets. There’s an ongoing race among Chinese manufacturers to launch the slimmest smartphone and it seems like this device from Vivo will hold the crown for the foreseeable future.
Hardware wise, the X5 Max is expected to feature a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 1.7 GHz octa core processor, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. Given the slender profile of the smartphone, we’re assuming Vivo and BBK have made some sacrifices in the battery department, which is to be ascertained once the handset is officially launched in the coming months.
What do you think of a device as slim as the Vivo X5 Max?
