Google Now gets more interactive; rolls a die or flips a coin for you

Google Now

Google Now can do a lot of things, but the latest update takes it a step further. Android’s default search engine can now roll a die or even flip a coin for you, making it a fun trick to use at parties or other social gatherings. It seems to be available on very few devices right now, as people running the latest version of Google Now are apparently not able to access the feature. But rest assured, it will make its way to all compatible devices subsequently.

Google Now commands can now be used to detect a variety of word combinations ranging from “roll a die” to “roll dice”, so you don’t have to utter a specific set of words for it to work. The coin flip feature is pretty standard and does exactly what it’s supposed to, so there’s nothing too fancy with that.

As of now Google hasn’t included animations for the rolling of the die, but we hope it will be added with subsequent updates. Are you seeing these new features on your Android device? Let us know below.
