With the major changes Android Lollipop brings to Google’s mobile operating system, it’s no wonder that Android users have been clamoring for the update to hit their devices. However, it seems Google isn’t ready to let owners of Nexus devices in on the sugary Lollipop fun just yet, as the search giant has supposedly delayed the update’s rollout to November 12th.
That’s the same day the Nexus 6 is expected to become available for purchase, meaning the update’s release will coincide with the official launch of Google’s 6-inch phablet. According to Android Police’s Artem Russakovskii, Google has delayed the OTA rollout to iron out a few bugs that are present in Android 5.0, which would likely be a good move given how many Nexus 9 reviews mention that software bugs ruin the out-of-the-box experience.
Are you disappointed that the update isn’t coming out earlier?
