The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to receive the Android 5.0 update by December. And now, the update for the Sprint version of the handset has just leaked out. This ROM can be flashed onto your Sprint branded Galaxy S5 and appears to be the final version of what will inevitably make its way to smartphones later next month.
Although this ROM is running the latest Android 5.0 build supplied by Google, it’s not yet confirmed if it can be used on your primary device. Also note that flashing this ROM will void the warranty of your Galaxy S5, so proceed only if you are fully aware of what you’re getting into.
Users have been able to confirm that the ROM has a fully working cellular, data and messaging functionality at the moment. So from that perspective, it seems like the ROM should do just fine. If you’re curious to try its functionality, make sure you head over to the link below and give it a go. Also ensure that your data is backed up beforehand as the ROM wipes the device off all data.
