We all know that Android 5.0 Lollipop will inevitably make its way to Samsung’s series of Galaxy devices. And as we’ve already seen the company’s iteration of the Lollipop update running on the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S4, it was only a matter of time before we got a glimpse of it on last year’s popular Galaxy Note 3 phablet.
And now, the folks from Sam Mobile have managed to get a preview of the Android 5.0 ROM running on Samsung’s 2013 phablet. As with previous ROMs, this one is optimized for TouchWiz, so there’s not a lot of Material Design elements on offer here.
There will be some new features to accommodate for the S Pen stylus, which we should see on the Galaxy Note 4 update as well. The latest multi window feature from the Galaxy Note 4 is shown to be working on the Galaxy Note 3, so it seems like Lollipop will bring some uniformity between the two phablets. Samsung is expected to rollout the Android 5.0 update for its flagship devices over the coming months, so there’s still some time left before you can enjoy Google’s latest release on your smartphone.
In the meantime, watch the video below to learn what’s new with the Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note 3.
