Sony USA now selling the Xperia Z3 Compact for $530

Xperia Z3 Compact

Sony USA has officially announced the arrival of the Xperia Z3 Compact in the region. The smartphone was launched along with the Xperia Z3 in Berlin last month, so it’s a fairly new device. It has been priced at $529.99, which is quite steep, but not unreasonable considering the hardware on board. Interestingly, Amazon has the same smartphone for about $10 less, which could be worth a look as well if you’re in the market for a small sized beast such as the Xperia Z3 Compact.

Sony is also offering an interesting student discount promotion where the device can be had with a 10% discount on the asking price, bringing it down to just $477. Students don’t necessarily require an .edu email address to be eligible for this deal. You can find more details about this promotion here.

The smartphone features a 4.6 inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, a 20.7-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal storage, a 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 SoC, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 2,600 mAh battery. Hit the link below for more details on the Xperia Z3 Compact.
