Motorola Nexus 6 accidentally listed on AT&T website for $50 on contract

Nexus 6 AT&T

With the Nexus 6 possibly just a few hours away from an official announcement, AT&T has inadvertently revealed its intentions to sell the smartphone during launch. The Nexus 6 has been listed on the carrier’s official website for $49.99 with a two year contract. Obviously, the page leads nowhere and appears to be a placeholder for when the smartphone actually goes official.

Google has never sold a Nexus smartphone directly through AT&T, so this is quite big news for the American public. The listing on AT&T’s site has an image of the LG G Vista, so not a lot is known apart from the pricing.

Bear in mind that the pricing of the smartphone might not remain $50 and could change after the device is shown off later today. But it is a good sign that Google is looking to launch the Nexus 6 through top American carriers. It will be interesting to see if Google will have similar deals with other carriers of the U.S.
