Motorola Droid Turbo to pack a 2K display, Snapdragon 805, 2-day battery life and more

Motorola Droid Turbo

The Verizon Droid Turbo is expected to break cover later this month. And now, a new leak has given us complete details on what to expect from this powerhouse. According to data accessed by Android Central, the Droid Turbo will pack a 5.2 inch Quad HD display as rumored, along with a Snapdragon 805 chipset, Android 4.4 KitKat as well as a massive 3,900 mAh battery promising 2-days of battery life on a full charge. It is said that Motorola will also bring support for its recently launched Turbo Charger, which will allow users to get up to 8 hours of usage with just 15 minutes of charging.

Other software features like Moto Display, Moto Voice and Moto Assist will also be available with the Droid Turbo according to the new revelation. The smartphone is shaping up to be quite the flagship and is easily the best smartphone we’ve come across all year. The design of the smartphone will be reminiscent of the Droid trio from last year with the familiar Kevlar patterned back cover. It is said that the handset uses metallized glass fiber in its construction, which should make it immune to rain or water spills.

We have two weeks to wait before Motorola and Verizon finally unveil the Droid Turbo. Is this the smartphone you’ve been waiting for?
